Information we collect and how we collect it
Information you provide
When you register for an account, submit forms, contact support, or otherwise communicate with us.
Information collected automatically
We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and SDKs to collect device and usage information. We currently use Microsoft Application Insights for telemetry, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
Information from third parties
We do not use third‑party or social logins and do not receive identity data from identity providers. We may receive limited information from vendors who operate our infrastructure or provide support services.
How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Services (create/manage accounts, deliver features, respond to requests).
- Personalize and improve the Services (testing, research, analytics, troubleshooting, and developing new features).
- Communicate with you about the Service (account notices, security alerts, and responses to support inquiries). We do not send marketing emails at this time.
- Protect the Service and users (detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, fraud, and abuse).
- Comply with law and enforce terms (legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcing agreements).
Advertising
We do not use targeted advertising or retargeting pixels. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will update this Policy, provide required notices and opt‑outs (including a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link where applicable), and honor GPC signals.
AI/ML disclosures
ScriptaVerse does not currently offer AI features. If we add optional AI functionality in the future, we will provide clear disclosures and controls. We will not use your content to train generalized machine‑learning models without your consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences; and
- Analytics/diagnostic technologies (Microsoft Application Insights) to measure performance, stability, and usage.
We do not use third‑party advertising cookies or pixels. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; some features may not function without essential cookies. If we later add optional categories (e.g., advertising), we will provide in‑product controls and update this Policy.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt‑out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising where applicable.
How we disclose information
- Service providers. Vendors who process data for us under contract (e.g., hosting, cloud storage, analytics/telemetry, email/support tooling, logging/monitoring, and security vendors).
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, auditors, and insurers where necessary for legitimate business purposes.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality.
- Legal compliance and safety. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property of TierCore, our users, or others.
No sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide required opt‑out mechanisms.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
- Device and log/telemetry data: retained 90 days by default, unless we need to preserve data to investigate security incidents or comply with law.
- Account and profile information: retained while your account is active and thereafter as needed to maintain records, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
- User content and support communications: retained as long as needed to provide the Services and support, then deleted or anonymized where feasible.
When retention periods expire, we delete or de‑identify information where practical.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, vulnerability management). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong, unique passwords and keep your credentials confidential.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States and the Services are intended for U.S. users. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Your rights and choices (U.S.)
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling. You (or your authorized agent) can submit requests by emailing support@tiercore.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
